How did you start playing music?
I started piano lessons in first grade and continued thru high school.
Tried the recorder in 4th grade.
Worked on the flute from 6th grade-8th grade.
Then started classical guitar in 9th grade and played through college.
Then I went to India and studied classical singing. When I came home I sang with a kirtan group for 5 years.
Before singing I was too terrified to play music in front of people.

What is your day job:
I am a clothing designer and I also work at a locally owned fabric store.
